Banele 3 Years
Banele arrived at iKhethelo in 2025 and quickly became the most popular child in the village. He is loved by all the children in the village. He has settled in well at iKhethelo. His calm and funny little sense of humour is just too precious.
Sanele 4 Years
Sanel is one of our newest little boys. He took a while to settle in at the village. He is a little character and loves tight hugs. He attends a private pre-school where he is settling in well.
Junior 9 Years
Junior has been at the village for a number of years. He came with his older brother Tumelo. He starts a new fee paying school next year where he will be given more opportunities to excel.
Junior is an energetic and lovely natured boy.

Owami 7 Years
Owami came to the village last year. He came from an extremely troubled background, where the community could not control him. Since coming to iKhethelo, he has settled in well, and we have had no major problems with him. He has responded well to the love and support he receives at the village.

Kingdom 6 Years
Kingdom arrived at the village this year only able to speak Afrikaans. He has nmow settled in and has leartn English abd Zulu. He attends a remedial English school and is doing so well, we are super proud of him.
Cebisani 14 Years
Cebisani came to the village when he was very young with his twin sister Nomcebo. Cebisani will be starting High School next year at a very good fee paying school where we hope he will flourish.
Fee paying schools provide better resources and opportunites for our children, not just in academics but alos in sports.
Tumelo 13 Years
Tumelo came to the village when he was 6 years old, with his brother Junior. Tumelo took a long time to settle in the village due to the severe trauma he had experienced at a young age. He now is doing very well and attends a private, fee paying special needs school not too far from the village.
Banele S. 11 Years
Banele came to the village amny years ago. He has done well at school and is incredibly bright. He is growing up so fast and is doing really well, academically at a really good fee paying school.
Banele loves playing soccer.
Xqalo 6 Years
Xqalo is such a character and full of energy. He is the type of child that you do not let loose in a china shop, but we love him and he always makes us laugh.
Xqalo is also incredible clever and he will begin a new journey next year at a new fee paying school where we are confident he is going to flourish.
Luhle 10 Years
Luhle attends a remedial school where he has grown and improving so much. He does struggle academically and when he forst came to us could barely speak. He is now able to communicate and improving everyday.

SLungile 2 Years
Slungi is our youngest in the village at the moment and loved by all. She only arrived a few months ago and has settles in well. She came with her older sister, Nombuso.
Being incredibly cute does not even do this little treasure justice, she is such a joy and so popular with all the children in the village.
Acwengile 5 Years
Acwe came to the village in 2023. She has the most precious smile and is always full of joy. She is very shy but loves to run around and play with her older sister Sphe.
Acwe also begins a new educational chapter next year in 2026, when she starts at a new fee paying school. She is incredibly bright and is going to do very well academically.
Sphe 7 Years
Sphe is the sister of Acwe. When she came to the village she had a aquint eye. We were able to arrange an operation for her to straighten her eye which was a success. Sphe attends a fee paying remedial school where she is doing well. She is shy and loves playing jokes.
Sphiwo 11 Years
Sphiwo is short for Sphiwokuhle. She will be going into Grade 6 next year at a very good fee paying school next year. She is incredible bright and averages near the top of her class.
She is such a precious little girls and loves playing netball.
Londiwe 11 years
Londiwe took a while to settle into the village when she came. She also attends a very good fee paying school and is doing extremely well.
Londi loves to play netball, where she plays at school and at the village.

Thando 12 Years
Thando has only been at the village for a few months. She is a very shy child and still trying to recover from the trauma she experienced before coming to the village. She is such a dleightful little girl and loves playing with everyone at the village.
Over the last few weeks we are definately starting to see her come out of her shell as she experiences to love and care from everyone at the village.
Thube 10 Years
Thube came to iKhethelo when she was just a baby. She attends a very good fee paying school and is a real character. She loves playing soccer and plays for the school team, and for iKhethelo when we have matches.
Owami 16 Years
Owami came to village many years ago. She attends a very good fee paying High School and tries so hard at school. She loves reading and you will always see her around the village with a big book that she is reading.
Nomcebo 13 Years
Nomcebo is the twin sister of Cebisani. She also enters a new season next year where she starts High School at a very good fee paying school.
Nomcebo loves younger children and you will often see her playing and looking after the little ones – maybe she will be a teacher one day.
